European grants and a loan from the European Investment Bank are also included in the construction project of the second Divača-Koper track, so the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and Jaspers, which provides project consultancy, are also involved in the project preparation process.
The project will also be under the supervision of the Court of Audit, the Financial Administration and the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, and there is also a representative of the civil movement in the project-financial council.
A project council was established for civil control of the project, which will supervise the project and contribute to even greater transparency of the project. Council members will be informed of data and documentation relating to the implementation of the second track project. After the discussion, they will form opinions and positions and inform the government about them, and twice a year they will also prepare an opinion for the government on the implementation of the project. Each member will have the right to a separate opinion.
