2TDK was established by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in March 2016 with the aim of carrying out all necessary activities in the preparation and construction phase of the second track and its management during the duration of the concession contract.

2TDK, established in 2016, is a 100% state-owned project company responsible for the construction of the second track. Its task is to carry out all activities related to the preparation, construction and subsequent management of the second track in accordance with the concession agreement.
