100,000 documents in Dalux — or nearly four Eiffel Towers worth of paper

12. May 2026

In just over four years, more than 100,000 documents have been uploaded to the Dalux system on the Second Track project, confirming the project’s exceptional scale and strong digital support.

On the Second Track project, Dalux is used by more than 600 users from over 15 different companies involved in construction. All documentation is uploaded into the system—from the PGD (project documentation for building permits) to the PID (as-built documentation). The files include technical plans, reports, certificates, declarations of performance for materials, and nearly 2,000 BIM models that enable advanced digital planning and construction monitoring.

The total volume of documentation is immense—if all 100,000 documents were printed on standard 80 g/m² paper, they would form a stack almost as high as four Eiffel Towers. As an interesting comparison: the Second Track project itself contains steel reinforcement equivalent to the weight of five Eiffel Towers.

Dalux is a digital tool that enables traceability, BIM model transparency, and faster information flow.
