Progress of work at the pre-tunnel area in Divača.

Work on the pre-tunnel area in Divača is progressing rapidly along the route of the second track. This section must be excavated to allow for the railway line to extend from Divača to the first tunnel in Lokev (T1).

The pre-tunnel is part of the open route, approximately two kilometers long. Excavations are carried out using blasting, breaking larger rocks, and then transporting the material to a temporary storage site. A large portion of the excavated limestone is then crushed in a crusher, producing various fractions used in the production of concrete for other stages of work on the construction site.

Work on the pre-tunnel in Divača will be completed by the end of June.
