Heavy trains traveled across the Vinjan Viaduct last week and across the Gabrovica Viaduct this week. This time, the locomotive crossed the Gabrovica Viaduct at a speed of 100 km/h.
Yesterday, we were able to witness a very special sight—road traffic on one viaduct and rail traffic on the other. But soon, this will be an everyday sight!
Load tests are an important step in verifying the safety and suitability of new railway structures and in preparing the second track between Divača and Koper for the start of operations.
