2TDK is seeking solutions to pay subcontractors

Today, representatives of 2TDK met again with the management of Yapi Merkezi in Slovenia and with one of the law firms representing certain individual subcontractors on the Second Track project. Yapi Merkezi has once again assured 2TDK that it will take all necessary steps to settle all obligations to the subcontractors.

In accordance with the agreement reached at the meeting, the subcontractor or its authorized representative must collect the required documentation pursuant to Article 631 of the Obligations Code, and 2TDK will then review the documents received. When and if the conditions for the validity of the subcontractor’s claim are met, 2TDK will settle the subcontractor’s claim.

2TDK will always strive to ensure that all project participants receive their payment. 2TDK resolves outstanding matters in accordance with the law and takes all necessary measures to ensure the continued smooth implementation of the Second Track project.

Let us emphasize once again that 2TDK regularly pays monthly invoices for completed construction work to the consortium and designated subcontractors who have requested direct payments. 2TDK takes the issue of subcontractors extremely seriously and, at their request, also meets with subcontractors who inform the company of non-payments, all with the aim of finding solutions to the situation and ensuring that subcontractors receive the payment they deserve for their work.
