Drawdown of the second tranche of the EIB loan

The EIB is one of the key financial partners of the Second Track project. The European Investment Bank has repeatedly highlighted the project as a best-practice example of managing large-scale infrastructure projects, as it represents an important step in the development of modern railway infrastructure and the improvement of logistics connections in the region.

The new loan tranche enables the uninterrupted continuation of construction and contributes to the successful implementation of the project, which will in the long term improve rail connectivity and support the development of the Slovenian economy.
